1. Who We Are
Garage Purge ("Garage Purge," "we," "us," or "our") operates garagepurge.com (the "Site"), a free service that connects homeowners with independent, third-party companies that provide garage cleanout, junk removal, organization, donation drop-off, and estate cleanout services ("Providers").
Garage Purge is not a garage cleanout, junk removal, or organization company. We do not send crews to your home, and we do not perform any of the services listed on this Site. Our role is limited to collecting your project information and forwarding it to Providers who may be able to help.
2. Information We Collect
When you submit a request through our quote form, we collect:
- Your first and last name
- Phone number and email address
- ZIP code and, if provided, city/state
- Garage size and the type of service you're requesting
- Any additional notes or details you choose to provide about your project
We also automatically collect limited technical information when you visit the Site, such as your browser type, device type, and general usage data, through standard web analytics tools. This information does not identify you personally and is used to understand how visitors use the Site.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit to:
- Match you with Providers in our network who service your ZIP code and the type of project you described
- Share your submitted information directly with those matched Providers so they can contact you about your project
- Communicate with you about your request, including confirmations and follow-ups
- Maintain records of submitted requests, including in areas where we do not yet have an active Provider, so we can follow up if coverage becomes available
- Improve the Site, our matching process, and our Provider network
- Monitor for fraud, abuse, or misuse of the Site
Sharing with Providers is the core of how this service works. By submitting the quote form, you're authorizing us to share the information you entered with one or more Providers serving your area so they can contact you directly with a quote.
4. How We Share Your Information
Service Providers in Our Network
This is the primary way your information is shared. We forward your name, contact details, ZIP code, and project information to the independent Provider(s) we match you with. Once shared, each Provider's own use of your information — including how they contact you and how long they retain your details — is governed by their own privacy practices, not this Policy. We encourage you to ask any Provider that contacts you how they handle your information.
Service Vendors
We use third-party tools to operate the Site, including Formspree for form processing and delivery. These vendors process your information on our behalf and are not authorized to use it for their own marketing purposes.
What We Don't Do
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers, telemarketing lists, or advertisers. We do not share your information with Providers outside the area relevant to your request, and we do not share it for purposes unrelated to matching you with a service provider.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Business Transfers
If Garage Purge is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via the Site if your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy as a result.
5. Your Choices
You can choose not to submit a request — no part of the Site requires you to provide information beyond the quote form itself, and browsing the Site does not require any personal information.
If you no longer wish to be contacted by a Provider you were matched with, please contact that Provider directly, as they control their own outreach once your information has been shared with them.

6. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected, used, and shared, and the categories of third parties (including Providers) we've shared it with
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions
- Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights
Sharing your information with matched Providers is necessary to provide the service you requested and is not a "sale" in the traditional sense, but it may fall under CCPA's broader definition of "sharing." If you'd like to opt out of having your information shared with Providers, please contact us before submitting a request, or contact us afterward and we will instruct any Providers we've shared your information with to delete it where required by law.

7. Data Retention
We retain submitted request information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose it was collected for — including matching you with a Provider, following up if no Provider was available in your area at the time, and maintaining records for legal and business purposes. You may request deletion of your information at any time, subject to the exceptions described in Section 6.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information you submit. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
This Site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including Provider websites and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.
